On February 23rd local time, the Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics released a report stating that in 2022, the total import trade volume of the Netherlands with Russia increased by 13% year-on-year, while the total export volume to Russia decreased by 38%. The report points out that the total amount of products imported by the Netherlands from Russia in 2022 is about 21 billion euros, and the increase in import volume is mainly due to the increase in fuel prices. In 2022, the total export value of Dutch products to Russia was only 3.7 billion euros, and the decrease in export value was due to the impact of sanctions against Russia.
